While I weep- while I weep!
O God! can I not grasp
Them with a tighter clasp?
O God! can I not save
One from the pitiless wave?
Is all that we see or seem
But a dream within a dream?
I feel like everything is slipping from my fingers, slowly creeping away from me, why can't I hold onto anything? Why can't I play the only role left for me to play?
Lately it's been as if I've with drawn from reality entirly, only physically here, occasionally putting in a thought or to, commiting only mere seconds to reality in order to keep my place amoung my small circle. When you think about it we all have a small circle, it encompasses only so much. And we all have a set place within that circle, if you step out of that place, if you disapear, it's like when one piece is missing from the puzzel. You simply can't finish it, you know what it's supposed to look like, but it's considered unfinished or incomplete without that one piece. It could be a piece of the backround, an endlessly blue sky, just a plain piece, soild blue. Nothing important. But it's still needed. You can't just replace. Even though over time you might forget what was on that piece or what that piece actually looked like. But you wont forget that you needed it. It's odd, how people can be compared to a puzzel piece through the magic of words, thought, pictures, through silence even.
When you meet someone new, you know that, eventually, you'll be parting with that person. Because meetings start with saying hello and envitably end with a good bye. You can't have just one. And meetings don't last forever, we say "Best friends for ever," or "I'll love you forever." And really forever, eternity, these things only exist because we live for a certain period of time. We are born, we die, we say hello and we say good bye. Whether we say good bye on our death bed or not. It's still a parting. It's still forever. To us. But not to the other person.
I'm rambling, I'll shut up now.
I finished my third bunny plushie! I may put a pic up, I may not, it is a gift for a friend. Gee I hope he doesn't notice my horrible sewing job. x.x
